RENU™ PEK HF NAT-MP140 is a precision-milled polyetherketone (PEK) powder in the high-flow grade, produced from clean post-industrial recycled PEK scrap. PEK occupies a performance tier above standard PEEK, offering a higher melting point (Tm ≈ 365°C vs. 343°C for PEEK) and higher glass transition temperature (Tg ≈ 162°C vs. 143°C), making it the preferred choice for the most demanding high-temperature structural and tribological applications. The 140-mesh cut is optimized for compression molding, powder coating, and SLS applications requiring next-level thermal performance.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Note: RENU™ recycled powders are suitable for non-critical industrial, electronics, automotive, and commercial applications. They are NOT recommended for safety-critical aerospace structures or life-sustaining medical devices.
Application Area | Specific Uses |
High-Temperature Compression Molding | Parts requiring service above PEEK capability — pump components, valve bodies, high-temp structural |
Powder Coating (High-Temp Service) | Coatings for components operating continuously above 250°C |
Non-Critical Aerospace | Structural brackets and housings in environments where standard PEEK is marginal |
Oil & Gas Downhole | Seals, packers, and valve components for deep downhole environments with extreme temperatures |
Semiconductor Equipment | Wafer handling and process chamber components requiring highest purity at elevated temperatures |
PACKAGING & AVAILABILITY
Format | Details |
Box (Standard) | Up to 25 kg (55 lbs) per box — double-wall corrugated with poly liner |
Drum (Bulk) | 68 kg (150 lbs) bulk drums — fiber or plastic drum with sealed poly liner |
Custom Packaging | Available on request for larger volumes — contact PolyClean for details |
Labeling | Each container labeled with: RENU™ product code, mesh size, lot number, and date of manufacture |
Processing Notes PEK requires higher processing temperatures than PEEK — typical melt processing at 380–420°C. Dry at 160°C for 4 hours before processing. PEK is the preferred upgrade from PEEK for continuous-service temperatures above 240°C. |
