RENU™ PEI HF NAT-MP140 is a precision-milled high-flow polyetherimide (PEI) powder produced from clean post-industrial recycled PEI scrap. PEI is an amorphous, amber-colored engineering thermoplastic offering an outstanding combination of elevated-temperature performance, inherent flame retardancy (V-0 rating without additives), excellent electrical insulation, and broad chemical resistance. The 140-mesh cut delivers a free-flowing fine powder suitable for powder coating, SLS additive manufacturing, and compression molding of electrical and electronic components. At a fraction of the cost of virgin PEI, RENU™ PEI opens high-performance polymer applications to cost-sensitive industries.

Processing Notes PEI is hygroscopic — dry at 120–150°C for 4 hours minimum before all processing. Avoid prolonged contact with strong bases (NaOH, KOH) which will hydrolyze the imide linkage. PEI is inherently V-0 flame rated — no halogenated flame retardants required. |
