The low-flow characteristic is maintained across all mesh sizes and provides the same processing advantage in compression and sinter applications. Available from 20 to 170 mesh to order.

PEI HF Powder — Custom Mesh

RENU™ PEI HF NAT-MP### is the custom-mesh offering of PolyClean’s high-flow PEI powder line. Available across the 20–170 mesh range, this product allows customers to specify the exact particle size distribution required for their process — from coarser grades for thermal spray and fluidized-bed coating to finer grades for precision SLS printing and fine-detail compression molding. All technical properties are equivalent to TDS-005; the variable is particle size. Contact PolyClean for availability and lead times.

PEI LF Powder — 140 Mesh

RENU™ PEI LF NAT-MP140 is a low-flow grade polyetherimide powder milled to 140 mesh from post-industrial recycled PEI scrap. This grade shares the exceptional thermal, electrical, and flame retardant properties of the HF grade but is derived from lower-viscosity PEI feedstock. The lower flow characteristic makes this grade particularly suitable for compression molding and press-and-sinter processing where a more controlled, less runny powder is advantageous. All performance properties are equivalent to TDS-005 with the distinction being melt-flow behavior.

PEI HF Powder — 140 Mesh

RENU™ PEI HF NAT-MP140 is a precision-milled high-flow polyetherimide (PEI) powder produced from clean post-industrial recycled PEI scrap. PEI is an amorphous, amber-colored engineering thermoplastic offering an outstanding combination of elevated-temperature performance, inherent flame retardancy (V-0 rating without additives), excellent electrical insulation, and broad chemical resistance. The 140-mesh cut delivers a free-flowing fine powder suitable for powder coating, SLS additive manufacturing, and compression molding of electrical and electronic components. At a fraction of the cost of virgin PEI, RENU™ PEI opens high-performance polymer applications to cost-sensitive industries.

Processing Notes

PEI is hygroscopic — dry at 120–150°C for 4 hours minimum before all processing.

Avoid prolonged contact with strong bases (NaOH, KOH) which will hydrolyze the imide linkage.

PEI is inherently V-0 flame rated — no halogenated flame retardants required.
